Who are we?

Apartment Zwei Welten

In the beautiful historic village of Obervellach in the Mölltal in Carinthia we started our Austrian adventure and have been running our Almhütte zwei Welten as a B&B and café since October 2021.

We have founded our own company, converted and maintained the place into an attractive and popular location and offered our hospitality and ample service with great pleasure and enthusiasm. It has brought us a lot: nice contacts with the villagers and our guests from Brazil to South Korea, surprising evenings with colleagues, intensive contact with loved ones and with them fantastic trips in the area.

Since May '25 we have taken a different path. Our Almhütte zwei Welten has been sold to enthusiastic Dutch buyers, and we have moved to Sachsenburg (Drautal). There, we have settled into a comfortable, beautiful, and quiet house with a rental apartment, Apartment Zwei Welten. This cozy apartment has its own entrance and is suitable for 2 to 4 people. With a fantastic view towards Spittal / Millstätter See and the Drautal, this is the perfect location to enjoy a few days to the fullest.

Sachsenburg is located on the crossing Mölltal to Drautal, close to Spittal, the Millstätter See, the Weissensee, Kreuzeckbahn, Katschberg Ski area and the Goldeck Bergbahnen. Cozy restaurants nearby, the outdoor pool next to our house and fantastically beautiful cycling and hiking trails, in short, here too we can offer everything in summer and winter.

Many guests have joined us on trips to Sachsenburg and spent some wonderful vacation days at our location last summer. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and support they have shown so far.

We are open for bookings starting from November 2025. Our apartment can be reserved for a minimum of four nights, for example for a midweek (from Monday to Friday) or a whole week (from Saturday to Saturday) and is suitable for two to four people.
